Hello! I’m Uthman Tijani, and I joined the RARE Lab in August 2023. I hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria (FUTA). My research interests encompass the fields of robotics, human-robot interaction (HRI), and artificial intelligence (AI).

My primary focus centers around developing intelligent robots capable of safe and meaningful interactions with humans, with the aim of enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in various applications.

Currently, I am working on developing a system that facilitates robot communication in open environments that lack projectable surfaces by using a fog screen as a display medium.
