Hi! I’m Yixi Chen, a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Florida, advised by Professor Zhao Han in the RARE Lab. I received my M.S. in Data Analytics Engineering from Northeastern University and my B.E. in Computer Science and Technology from Putian University in China. Before starting my Ph.D., I spent two years at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer working on distributed systems and deploying machine learning models.

My research interests include human-centered computing, human-robot interaction, and machine learning, with the goal of developing adaptive AI-powered robotic systems that better understand human intent and support people in critical environments.
