Hello! My name is Vlad Krukhmalev, and I am a senior majoring in Computer Science at the University of South Florida. I am passionate about exploring innovative technologies, especially Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), full-stack software engineering, and game development. I enjoy tackling complex problems and finding creative solutions. My interests include building simulations, computer graphics, and creating tools to help people.

I am eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals driven to innovate and make a difference. Joining the RARE lab represents an exciting opportunity for me to contribute my technical skills and creative ideas to innovative projects.

UR2PhD Spring 2025

Congrats to 12 RARE Lab undergraduate students accepted to the CRA Undergraduate Research to PhD (“UR2PhD”) program: Tammy, Jonathan, Chi, Vlad, Maria, Tony, Khoa, Suyog, Bao, Minh Ha, Thom, and Khang!

Also congrats to two graduate students Hong and Ridhima accepted to Graduate Student Mentorship Training.

Undergraduate students Vlad Krukhmalev (12/2), Tu (Tony) Nguyen (12/16), Michael Klein (12/20), and Nicolas Echeverria (12/20) have joined RARE Lab. Vlad and Tony will work on AR in HRI. Michael and Nicolas bring their mechanical engineering expertise. Welcome!
