Hello there! My name is Chi, and I am a junior in Computer Science at the University of South Florida.
My interests lie at the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence, and human-robot interaction (HRI). I am especially drawn to how augmented reality can enhance human-robot communication, creating seamless and intuitive interactions.
Passionate about emerging design and technology, I aim to build innovative, user-centered experiences and am excited to explore these fields further as part of the RARE lab.

For the past year in the RARE Lab, I’ve had the opportunity to work on the Misty storytelling for mental health project, where we explored how interactive narratives can support student well-being and shared our findings at ICRA. I was also selected for the UR2PhD program, through which I collaborated on a study examining hallucination and omission in LLM storytelling. Joining the RARE Lab has truly opened new opportunities for me. It’s where I learned to think like a researcher and now find confidence in pursuing my own path. I’m incredibly grateful to Professor Han and everyone in the lab for their guidance, support, and kindness. This lab will always be a special part of my journey.
