Hello! My name is Sebastian Ramirez Vallejo, and I am a rising junior majoring in Computer Engineering at the University of South Florida. My coursework and past projects have established a strong foundation in programming with C, C++, and Python, as well as core computer science areas, including data structures, object-oriented programming, and algorithms. I am especially interested in applying these skills to robotics and human-centered AI.

I first became interested in robotics in high school, where I joined a robotics team and gained experience in both programming and hardware integration. More recently, I contributed to designing an interactive STEM robot for K–8 education, which strengthened my skills in working collaboratively and gaining real-world practice in programming and project development.

At RARE Lab I’m excited to explore robotics further, gain more hands-on experience, and continue learning while contributing to meaningful projects.
