My time at the RARE Lab was a transformative introduction to the research world. I had the privilege of developing core research skills while working on advanced projected AR systems. I applied my programming skills to help with data collection and collaborated with the team to navigate the challenges of a highly technical project. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the team. I wish the entire lab success and would especially like to thank Dr. Han for his outstanding mentoring and Hong Wang for being an exceptional mentor and guide. I would wholeheartedly recommend the RARE Lab to any student interested in the intersection between robotics and AI.

I am a senior majoring in Computer Science at the University of South Florida, graduating in Summer 2025. I am passionate about Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and the intersection of software and hardware in robotics.

My background includes experience in algorithm design and systems programming. I have worked on projects involving image recognition and feature detection, as well as high-performance computing using C and parallel threading. I am also currently exploring Japanese language and culture, which adds to my global perspective.

With a strong intention to enroll in a PhD program at USF after graduation, I am dedicated to pursuing a career in research. at the RARE Lab, I am excited to apply my technical foundation to real-world robotics problems and contribute meaningfully to the team’s ongoing projects.
