Hi! My name is Khanbaba Fatullayev, and I am an undergraduate Computer Science student at the University of South Florida.

My interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, and intelligent systems. I am particularly interested in how AI-powered systems can better understand human intent and enable more natural and effective interactions between people and technology.

Before joining the RARE Lab, I worked on N.O.O.R. (Neuro-Occipital Output Reader), a brain-computer interface that uses real-time EEG signals to determine which interface element a user is looking at and translate that intent into actions such as selecting menu options, spelling letters, or generating speech. The project won 1st place in the Healthcare Track at Hackabull VII. I have also developed multi-agent AI systems, machine-learning applications, and production backend systems through hackathons and software engineering experience.

At the RARE Lab, I hope to deepen my experience in human-centered AI and robotics and contribute to research on intelligent systems that can understand, adapt to, and collaborate effectively with people.
