Hello, my name is Holden Walford. I am an electrical engineering student at the University of South Florida with a strong interest in robotics, embedded systems, human-robot interaction, and AI-assisted technologies. I am especially interested in how electrical, mechanical, and software systems can work together to create useful and trustworthy robotic systems.
Most of my experience has come from hands-on engineering and programming projects involving Arduino, sensors, motor control, circuit debugging, Python, Tkinter, Matplotlib, React, Firebase, and the OpenAI API. Through these projects, I have gained experience working with embedded systems, data visualization, user interfaces, and AI-based applications.
At the lab, I am excited to gain more experience in robotics research, contribute to the Bloom project, and continue developing my skills in embedded systems, human-centered robotics, and trustworthy AI.
