Hey! My name is Rafael Pena, I’m a Junior in mechanical engineering at USF with an interest in Robotics, Aeronautics, Automotives, microcontrollers, and Mechatronics as a whole. I’m working on projects using SolidWorks, MATLAB, Python, Arduino/ESP32, and C++.
I’m excited to contribute as much as possible to the RARE lab and am particularly interested in research involving HRI, Robotics, and Mechanical design. I look forward to learning valuable lessons from the lab that I can apply to my own projects and aspirations. I’m enthusiastic to continue building technically and professionally in a Lab environment. I enjoy learning on the fly and turning random ideas into tangible projects.
