I’m an undergraduate researcher at the University of South Florida, majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in Sales. My academic and project experience spans both hardware and software systems, with a growing focus on human-centered robotics and intelligent systems. I’ve worked on embedded hardware projects involving sensor integration and robotic control, most notably building robots with obstacle detection using ultrasonic and infrared sensors.

Beyond the technical buildout, I’ve developed a strong interest in system transparency and user experience. As a teaching assistant and team leader, I’ve learned how to communicate technical information clearly, support users in troubleshooting, and design systems that are easier to interpret and interact with. These skills are especially relevant as I explore how people understand robotic behavior and how we can design better visual or behavioral cues to support that understanding. I’m excited to contribute to research that blends robotics, explainability, and user interaction in dynamic, real-world settings.
