Hi! I’m Grant Henderson, an undergraduate Computer Science student at the University of South Florida. Originally from Illinois, I’ve been passionate about computers and technology since a young age, always curious about how intelligent systems work and how they can improve people’s lives.

I’m currently working in the RARE Lab with LeRobot and CRIE, a robot explanation model designed to improve transparency and adaptability in human-robot interaction. I am part of the UR2PhD program, where I am gaining structured research training and mentorship. My long-term goal is to pursue a master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on AI and robotics. To prepare, I’m working closely with Dr. Han to strengthen my research knowledge and contribute to projects that bridge intelligent systems with real-world applications. I continue to enjoy exploring the intersection of hardware and software. At RARE Lab, I’m excited to contribute to advancing robotics research while preparing for graduate-level work.
